Ursula D. Garrett, CPA, MBA

Ursula Garrett is the principal of Garrett & Associates, CPA. Ursula is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA in Entrepreneurship and a BS in Accounting. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She has been a practicing accountant for over 10 years and specializes in small business consulting, estate and trust accounting.

She has broad experience over the past ten years in small business development based on her community involvement and entrepreneurial ventures. Ursula's diverse background, professional certifications and uncommon ability to listen and understand what is really the obstacle, provides her clients the opportunity to tap into her experience, overcome barriers, adopt transforming strategies while effectively and efficiently achieving more of what they value sooner. Ursula's teaching for local community colleges illustrates her ability to communicate difficult concepts in easy to understand language.

Marjorie L. McPike, CPA

Marjorie is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California and a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University. She is currently working on her Masters in Business Administration.

Prior to joining Garrett & Associates, CPA in 2003, Marjorie worked in private industry holding various positions such as Controller, Business Office Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager and Full Charge Bookkeeper. She has a vast knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting skills in various industries such as health care, manufacturing, retail, and professional services.

Additionally, Marjorie has a strong health care background. She has extensive experience in Skilled Nursing Accounting including Medicare, Medi-cal and Managed Care Reimbursement as well as Medicare Cost Reporting.
